We are seeking a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management. As a member of the Terrestrial Ecosystem Analysis group, you will contribute to a VILLUM-funded project focused on developing and applying new remote sensing techniques for quantifying emissions of biogenic volatile organic compounds in Arctic tundra.
About the JobThe postdoc's duties will include research within geosciences and/or computer vision, as well as performance of other duties. You will work closely with the project PI to develop and apply new remote sensing techniques, and will have the opportunity to collaborate with other researchers in the field.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and applying new remote sensing techniques for quantifying emissions of BVOCs in Arctic tundra
- Collaborating with the project PI to design and implement field experiments and data collection campaigns
- Analyzing and interpreting data using computer programming languages and software tools
