CO2 to Acetic Acid Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to contribute to our research project focused on the biological conversion of CO2 to acetic acid. The project is part of a larger initiative to develop sustainable technologies for gas fermentation and CO2 utilization.
About the Research ProjectThe postdoc project will involve working closely with an industrial partner that produces food proteins from CO2. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing reactor configurations for efficient CO2 conversion to acetic acid.
Your Key Responsibilities- Develop and optimize reactor configurations for efficient CO2 conversion to acetic acid.
- Analyze data from experiments and draw conclusions about the efficiency of different reactor configurations.
To succeed in this role, you should have a PhD degree in a relevant field, such as biochemical engineering or microbiology. You should also have experience in handling and culturing anaerobic microbial cultures, operating bioreactors in batch and/or continuous mode, and gas fermentation. We value collaboration-minded individuals who can convey knowledge and good practices to others, as well as those who are self-activated and able to work independently.
