We're seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead our lab facilities operations in Denmark. As a key member of our facilities management team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring optimal functioning of our facilities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

You'll have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, and facilities services, to develop and implement effective strategies for maintaining high-quality facilities and promoting a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of hard-services professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Oversee daily technical operations, service requests, and maintenance across our DK sites.
  • Implement technical maintenance programs to ensure optimal functioning in partnership with building management.
  • Develop effective strategies and protocols to improve operational performance and align with regulations and global facilities standards.
  • Manage records and documentation, including insurance plans, service contracts, and financial records.
  • Ensure all permits are up to date and in compliance with regulations.
  • Use data and analytics to track performance metrics and identify areas that can be improved.
  • Develop and lead the 'hard services' operating budget, optimizing costs while ensuring quality and service levels.
  • Handle external hard services vendor/partner relationships, including procurement, contract negotiations, and performance evaluation.
  • Implement sustainability initiatives to minimize environmental impact.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and develop emergency procedures for DK facilities.
  • Serve as project lead for facilities-related projects.
