Copenhagen, Denmark is home to a prominent systemic bank like Nordea, which plays a significant societal role in the financial industry.

We are seeking a Regulatory Manager to join our team and support our organization in analyzing the impact of upcoming EU and local Nordic regulatory changes. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring that relevant areas within the Nordea Group are well-informed about legislative changes.

The successful candidate will have solid planning and organizing competences, strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information. They will also be capable of working independently and proactively solving problems or proposing solutions.

In this role, you will monitor regulatory changes relevant to business areas or group functions, conduct assessments of new or amended regulations on a Group-wide scale, facilitate Regulatory Change Forum meetings for business areas and group functions, and participate in internal development initiatives.

You'll join a close-knit team characterized by high team spirit. The role is based in Copenhagen, where you will have the opportunity to work with regulation at a leading financial institution and contribute to Nordea's compliance with the legal framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor regulatory changes relevant to business areas or group functions
  • Conduct assessments of new or amended regulations on a Group-wide scale
  • Facilitate Regulatory Change Forum meetings for business areas and group functions
  • Participate in internal development initiatives

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of Nordea's organizational structure (preferred)
  • Robust knowledge about the legislative process
  • Proficiency in comprehending regulatory requirements
  • Professional fluency in both written and spoken English and Danish
  • Background in regulatory, risk, compliance-related matters, or relevant job experience

We estimate the salary for this position to be around 70,000-90,000 EUR per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
