About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Investment Associate to join our team at Rockstart. As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for driving and owning the portfolio management process, from origination to closing of investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our Partners and team to source, assess, and develop new investment opportunities in Rockstart ventures.
  • Conduct thorough research on companies and trends to shape and refine our fund investment strategy.
  • Identify social issues where impact venture investment can help scale innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with our team to oversee deal pipeline processes and tools.
  • Support the investment team in collecting, analyzing, and categorizing the portfolio based on qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Prepare and recommend capital allocation with our Partners.
  • Develop and draft investment recommendations and documentation for the Investment Committee.
  • Ensure investments are made in line with Rockstart's criteria for successful follow-on investments.
  • Build and maintain relationships throughout the venture capital ecosystem.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant experience working with VC transactions.
  • Excellent social and interpersonal skills, with strong relationship management skills.
  • Passion for early stage startups and a desire to excel in the fields of venture capital and entrepreneurship.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
