Software Integration Engineer for Biotechnology

About the Role- We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our IT Research & Development Team as an innovation-focused Software Integration Engineer for Biotechnology.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about crafting cloud-based software application integrations utilized by Genmab's R&D organization. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and integrating software applications and systems used by the R&D Organization using enterprise-scale cloud integrations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and integrating software applications and systems used by the R&D Organization using enterprise-scale cloud integrations.
- Assessing existing infrastructure or solution architecture, identifying requirements, and strategizing how to implement R&D domain-specific integrations effectively.
- Driving the adoption of the Enterprise-Integration-as-a-Service model for IT R&D functions.
- Leveraging established integration patterns, reusing existing solutions when possible, optimizing efficiency.
- Sound knowledge of the Data Integration and Application Integration modules of IICS.
- Identifying opportunities to use AI to streamline the lifecycle management of APIs.
- Expert-level proficiency in application integration for orchestrating business processes.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of the integration platform.
- Playing a pivotal role in enabling integration solutions that span batch-data movement, data virtualization, and data replication & synchronization.
Requirements:
- Experience in Life Sciences, Biotech, or Pharma industry is a must-have.
- Masters' degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in developing and executing integrations, especially Integration Cloud component of IICS Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services.
- Strong knowledge in APIs and web-services.
- Advanced-level proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar.
- Knowledge of and experience with Databases (SQL, NoSQL).
- Understanding of Biotechnology processes and regulatory requirements.
- Prior experience working with data science tools, operational systems using AI/ML.
- Experience with Agile framework, DevSecOps processes.
- Excellent Communication skills, problem-solving skills, and technical expertise.
- Integration-specific certifications such as Informatica Cloud Services Data and Application Integration certification preferred.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of approximately €120,000 - €150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
