Cruise Vessel Category Development Opportunity


Are you a seasoned retail and F&B professional with a passion for leading high-performing teams? Do you have a proven track record of driving revenue growth and category development in a dynamic environment?


We are seeking an experienced Category Development Director to join our team as the Head of Travel Retail and F&B on our cruise vessels, Crown Seaways and Pearl Seaways. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies to drive profitable sales and optimize stock levels.


Key responsibilities will include:


  • Developing and implementing category strategies to drive revenue growth and optimize stock levels
  • Leading a high-performing team of category managers, coordinators, and a clothing storage coordinator to achieve business objectives
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and operations teams, to ensure seamless execution of category strategies
  • Monitoring team and category performance to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven decisions
  • Representing Travel Retail and F&B on route management meetings to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Communicating and executing the vision for the route both internally and externally to stakeholders

Requirements include:


  • 5+ years of experience in retail and/or F&B management, preferably in the travel industry
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal stakeholders
  • Results-driven with strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach
  • Proficient in IT systems and tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent travel requirements (30-35 travel days per year)
