About the Job

As an Assistant Professor, you will be responsible for developing an independent research project within nuclear RNA biology, including publication and collaboration with international researchers. You will also teach, guide, and examine Bachelor's and Master's degree students, as well as possibly co-supervise PhD students.

The Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics comprises 75 full-time scientific staff, 95 PhD students, and a yearly intake of around 120 students, ensuring a lively setting. Job Description
  • Develop an independent research project within nuclear RNA biology, including publication and collaboration with international researchers.
  • Teach, guide, and examine Bachelor's and Master's degree students, as well as possibly co-supervise PhD students.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a PhD in Molecular Biology or similar, preferably with experience in RNA detection and protein-protein interaction assays. Your interest in the biogenesis and turnover of nuclear RNA and its relationship to gene expression regulation in mammalian cells should be evident.

The estimated salary range for this position is approximately €45,000-€60,000 per year, based on the current Danish labor market conditions. However, please note that this is an estimate and may vary depending on individual circumstances.
