At Novo Nordisk A/S, we're seeking an exceptional leader to head our Vendor Alliances and Capability Building function. This key role plays a vital part in developing our internal capability center focused on designing and implementing employee development initiatives.

As Head of Vendor Alliances and Capability Building, you will lead a team of 6 dedicated employees in building up our capability center. Your primary goal is to develop and execute a vendor alliance strategy that drives value, innovation, and fosters strategic collaboration with key suppliers.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience, preferably within Capability Building and/or Vendor Relations Building, including 3 years in leadership. You should possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English and have exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

About the Role:

  1. Develop and execute a vendor alliance strategy to drive value, innovation, and foster strategic collaboration with key suppliers.
  2. Create and embed a Supplier Relationship Management framework within Category Management teams to identify, evaluate, and build strong partnerships with critical suppliers.
  3. Develop and implement a comprehensive capability building strategy aligned with Procurement's long-term goals, including the development and maintenance of a global procurement academy and talent management program.
  4. Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of training programs on employee performance, recommending improvements and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify gaps and further professionalize training programs.
