Job DescriptionThis position is for a skilled service technician to strengthen our Special Onsite Works (SOW) team under our Service organization in Brande. The team is under the global organization in Service, therefore travel activity must be expected.
The tasks will be very diverse, exciting and challenging:
- Performing gearbox and main bearing inspections with endoscopic camera.
- Creating inspections reports.
- Exchange of main components in our fleet of turbines.
- Onsite test of new components/tools/retrofits as well as evaluation of new designs/tools.
- Role Model for safe, efficient and effective work on-site and knowledge sharing with SGRE colleagues globally.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is educated as a marine engineer or has a mechanical background.
- Is flexible in relation to work, working hours, ad hoc travel and possesses high motivation, as well as team spirit.
- Can work independently as well as in a team.
- Thrives with challenging tasks and is able to deliver, while never losing sight of safety, quality and the end result.
- Is able to use common IT systems, and can communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
- Has a valid category B driving license.
