About the Opportunity

Lundbeck is seeking a highly motivated Neuroscience Research Fellow to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented MSc student or recent graduate in neuroscience to embark on an industrial PhD journey.

Your Role

As a Neuroscience Research Fellow, you will be part of Lundbeck's Research and Development activities, which are central to our commitment to advancing brain health and supporting people impacted by brain disorders. You will work closely with our scientists, students, and technicians at the company and university to drive your own research project, present results at internal and external meetings, and disseminate findings through scientific papers and your final PhD thesis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive your own research project independently, leveraging in vitro and in vivo techniques, omics, and bioinformatics to explore novel treatments for CNS diseases
  • Present research results at internal and external meetings, showcasing your expertise and progress
  • Contribute to the development of scientific papers and your final PhD thesis, highlighting your key findings and insights

Requirements

  • MSc degree in a relevant field (e.g., neuroscience) from a Danish University or Lund University
  • Genuine interest in neuroscience and drug development, with a passion for scientific communication
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to plan and report on experiments
  • Collaborative mindset, with strong team-playing skills and a willingness to engage with colleagues
  • Fluent written and spoken English, with excellent communication skills
