Postdoctoral Researcher in Neuroscience: Investigating Memory Mechanisms

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the Department of Neuroscience, University of Copenhagen. The successful candidate will contribute to an exciting project focused on understanding memory mechanisms using state-of-the-art electrophysiology and data analysis techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Design and conduct independent research projects with high international quality.
- Collaborate with lab members and other project participants to advance our understanding of memory and cognition.
- Assist with student supervision and contribute to the development of educational materials.
- A PhD in Neuroscience or related field is required.
- Experience in electrophysiology, particularly in-vivo experiments in rodents.
- Strong background in data analysis, including Matlab or Python programming.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Compensation PackageThe monthly salary starts at approximately 38,575 DKK (5,170 EUR), plus additional benefits and pension contributions. Foreign and Danish applicants may be eligible for tax reductions. The position is covered by the Job Structure for Academic Staff at Universities 2020.
