Senior Procurement Specialist

As a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Procurement Specialist, you'll play a crucial part in driving the efficiency of our procurement processes using ERP.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for optimizing supply chain operations. You'll work closely with suppliers to gather quotes, confirm order details, and resolve any issues, leveraging ERP for tracking and documentation.
The responsibilities of this role will include:
ERP Management- Accurate Data Management: Monitor and update procurement parameters such as minimum order quantities, reorder points, and lead times in ERP to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Supplier Evaluation and Selection: Assist in identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers, maintaining accurate supplier information in ERP.
- Communication and Documentation: Communicate with suppliers to gather quotes, confirm order details, and resolve any issues, using ERP for tracking and documentation.
- Purchase Order Processing: Process and track purchase orders within ERP, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Supply Chain Alignment: Monitor open orders, follow up with suppliers to address any delivery issues or discrepancies, and ensure alignment with inventory needs.
To be successful in this position, you'll need:
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a sourcing, procurement, or supply chain support role, with hands-on experience using ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with suppliers and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
