About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Project Manager to join our team at Rockwool International A/S. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading and executing design and construction management activities for large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute design and construction management activities, ensuring quality, budget, time schedule, certification, approvals, and health & safety checks.
  • Responsible for all construction project scope-related quality, budget, time schedule, certification, approvals, and health & safety checks.
  • Lead civil design consultants and all design-related activities, including permits in coordination with factory and process teams.
  • Responsible for efficient cooperation in the core teams.
  • Prepare design specifications and tender documents.
  • Manage main and sub-contractors' claims.
  • Prepare and follow-up civil time schedule in accordance with overall project time schedule.
  • Implement health & safety set-up and daily application through Site Safety Supervisor.
  • Ensure that Site Safety Supervisor has the required mandate to take necessary actions to ensure safety.
  • Coordinate with Factory organization design and site activities.
  • Responsible for efficient budget follow-up in relation to design and construction activities.
  • Clear communication to core team and stakeholders.
  • No restriction to travel; moderate travel activity should be expected.
  • Be proactive in all the responsibilities described above.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in civil or mechanical engineering and project management.
  • 8+ years of work experience in project management.
  • Excellent project management skills and experience in handling large-scale projects (5+ years' experience).
  • Experience working with multinational teams and contractors.
  • Industrial project experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of PRINCE2 philosophy and project execution.
  • High professional business level in English is a must; additional knowledge in Danish is preferred.
  • Experience in negotiation and excellent communication skills.
  • A Driver's license.
