Project Manager for Organic Binder Development

We are actively searching for a Project Manager to lead the development of our organic binders.

As a Project Manager, you will lead and oversee projects of varying sizes, collaborating with a team of 2 to 10 specialists. Your mission is to set clear goals, motivate your team, and ensure project achievement.

You will work closely with other project managers and a Technical Area Manager, contributing to the organization's overall success.

As the keystone, you will coordinate internal resources and external vendors to execute projects flawlessly. Your focus will be on delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Engage with stakeholders across ROCKWOOL, from testing labs to production. You will also actively participate in on-site project implementation.

Expect 40-60 days of annual travel, primarily within Europe, as you oversee projects across ROCKWOOL's worldwide factories.

What you bring:

  • Your leadership will guide projects toward success, even in the face of uncertainty.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of project management experience, preferably within R&D, with a track record of navigating uncertainty and driving successful outcomes.
  • A degree in chemical engineering, organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, or a related field is essential, providing invaluable technical expertise.
  • As a strong communicator, you will motivate your team, liaise with stakeholders, and keep everyone informed.
  • You thrive in dynamic environments, adept at steering projects even when faced with ambiguity.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is a must.
