Merchandise Planning Strategist

LEGO Gruppe seeks a visionary leader to spearhead the development of comprehensive merchandise financial plans. As a key member of our retail planning team, you will drive the launch of Merchandise Financial Planning at LEGO Retail, revolutionizing our planning capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Global Merchandise Planning: Develop and coordinate location-specific metrics, ensuring alignment with top-down strategies across product categories, channels, and timeframes.
- Annual Target Setting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish clear objectives and critical metrics for sales, margin, and inventory targets.
- Campaign Forecasting: Provide detailed forecasts for key campaigns, such as Black Friday, to support fulfillment center capacity planning.
- Consumer Insights: Analyze consumer data to identify risks and opportunities within the financial plan, driving informed decision-making.
- Process Enhancement: Foster strong relationships across Finance, Category Management, Channels, and Marketing to ensure seamless planning processes.
- Risk and Scenario Analysis: Monitor performance, identify potential risks, and propose strategies to address gaps in the financial plan.
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in developing retail plans at country and store levels.
- Skilled in using statistical forecasting to boost planning accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong collaboration skills, analytical approach, and ability to derive insights from large data sets.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experienced in leading global process changes, creating new frameworks, and ensuring governance.
