Test and Commissioning Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Test and Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of ERTMS technology in the Danish train fleet.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Prepare test sessions, including installing and configuring software tools on your PC and understanding train principles and electrical schematics.
- Organize electrical and/or system troubleshooting if necessary and write test reports.
- Contribute to both the engineering phase (with First of Class trains) and production phase (with serial trains).
- Report and follow up on issues with various teams in the project (System Engineering, Detailed Design Engineering, Installation, Safety, Quality, R&D, and Maintenance).
- Coordinate with the customer for organizational and technical purposes.
- Follow up on the availability of hardware tools and calibration status.
- Promote the EHS culture (Environment, Health, and Safety).
- Commit to delivering Quality-focused work, on Time.
- Maintain a good collaboration with the project team spread across various sites (Alstom Belgium, Sweden, Germany).
About You
We value passion and attitude over experience. We are looking for a candidate with a degree in electronics, electrics, or automatics engineering, and experience or understanding of test and commissioning processes. Knowledge of ERTMS technology or other signaling systems is also essential.
