About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Test and Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of ERTMS technology in the Danish train fleet.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and execute test sessions, including the installation and configuration of software tools and the understanding of train principles and electrical schematics.
  • Organize and conduct electrical and system troubleshooting, and write comprehensive test reports.
  • Contribute to both the engineering phase and production phase of our projects, working closely with teams across the business.
  • Report and follow up on issues with various teams, including System Engineering, Detailed Design Engineering, Installation, Safety, Quality, R&D, and Maintenance.
  • Coordinate with customers for organizational and technical purposes, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor the availability of hardware tools and calibration status, ensuring that all necessary equipment is in good working order.
  • Promote a strong EHS culture, prioritizing environmental, health, and safety considerations in all aspects of the job.
  • Deliver high-quality work on time, maintaining a strong focus on quality and timeliness.
  • Maintain effective collaboration with the project team, which spans multiple sites across Europe.
About You

  • Degree in electronics, electrics, or automatics engineering.
  • Experience or understanding of test and commissioning processes.
  • Knowledge of ERTMS technology or other signaling systems.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and computer environments.
  • Ability to write clear and comprehensive test reports.
  • Competence in analyzing test results and troubleshooting.
  • Aptitude for coordinating with various teams and customers.
  • Excellent oral and writing skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Danish or another Scandinavian language is a plus.
