About the Role

Pandora A/S is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining robust data pipelines in Azure Synapse and Databricks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement data integration pipelines in Databricks and Azure Synapse Analytics
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders and users of our data products to understand their needs and provide support
  3. Improve existing data integration processes to provide better reliability and robustness
Requirements
  1. Strong knowledge of SQL and Spark SQL
  2. Understanding of dimensional data modelling concepts
  3. Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics
  4. Understanding of streaming data ingestion processes
  5. Ability to develop/manage Apache Spark data processing applications using PySpark on Databricks
  6. Experience with version control (e.g. Git), DevOps and CI/CD
  7. Experience with Python
  8. Experience with Microsoft data platform, Microsoft Azure stack and Databricks
  9. Experience in marketing is a plus
