Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Strategic Buyer to join our Global Procurement & Supply Chain Organisation in Controls Division.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead strategic procurement activities to ensure supplier performance and development on both short and long-term basis, driving the procurement agenda in a global matrix organization.
  2. Collaborate with multiple global functions and serve as the vital link between Supply Chain and external suppliers.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, driving capacity management discussions, delivery accountability, and cost reductions execution.
  4. Coordinate ramp-up and ramp-down activities for new and continuous improvement projects, ensuring seamless supply chain operations.
  5. Complete Logistic Service Level Agreements with selected suppliers, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  6. Facilitate supplier workshops to improve supplier performance and resolve complex issues.
  7. Support and lead cost reduction and other sourcing projects that enhance cost, quality, and delivery from suppliers.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Relevant educational background, such as Bachelor's degree and/or certificate in Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience within SCM and/or solid theoretical knowledge within the field.
  • Energetic and able to find compromises between multiple and sometimes conflicting interests.
  • Strategic mindset and the drive to implement in a global matrix organization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage crisis situations effectively.
