Sw Processes Methods and Tools Support Engineer

Thales Group is seeking a highly skilled NPI Engineer to join our team in Copenhagen. As a key member of our production support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data processing activities, including administration, analysis, and reporting of file failures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and support all data processing activities, including administration, analysis, and reporting of file failures.
  2. Communicate effectively with the production team and stakeholders on any product or data processing issues.
  3. Provide first-line incident support for the PSC Production Team for any Personalization, Work stream, and Infrastructure issues.
  4. Develop and implement customer card carrier and PIN templates using development applications like PRES Designer.
  5. Industrialize new products and technologies, ensuring the best productivity goals can be achieved.
  6. Coordinate projects for the implementation and qualification of new products or new processes, contributing to projects to improve our infrastructure.
  7. Document working activities and manage IT technical systems and databases.
  8. Build technical and quality documents aligned with company standards and practices.

Requirements:

  1. Technical degree or student in the last years.
  2. Practical knowledge of operations and manufacturing processes.
  3. Experience as an NPI or Process engineer or in the area of production support.
  4. Experience in managing projects in the production environment.
  5. Proactive, able to work independently, and efficiently organize work and prioritize tasks.
  6. Good knowledge of English, as a major part of work time will be spent on communication with customers, corporate teams, and external suppliers.
  7. Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and ERP systems like Oracle, and software for product data management (PDM).
  8. Flexibility, ability to work under pressure, and cope with stress effectively.
