Research Objectives

This project aims to develop efficient nanoparticles for hydrogen production through photocatalytic water splitting. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Synthesis and Characterization:

  • Setting up a high-throughput synthesis protocol based on a continuous flow hydrothermal reactor.
  • Developing standard, fast characterization operations using X-ray diffraction, spectroscopy techniques, and a test bench for parallel qualitative testing of water splitting.

Machine Learning Algorithm:

  • Creating a machine learning algorithm to optimize the synthesis of photocatalytic materials.

Outcomes:

  • Design and optimization of a high-throughput synthesis protocol.
  • Development of a machine learning algorithm for optimizing photocatalytic material synthesis.
  • Presentation of results in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
