About the Role
The Project Manager will play a key role in managing projects that drive greenhouse gas reductions, focusing on operational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage individual projects in collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ensure project progress, delivery on milestones, and handover to business units at project closure.
- Define and track relevant project-specific KPIs.
- Work closely with the Decarbonisation Team to translate decarbonisation projects from pathways into actionable plans.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment with broader organizational goals.
- Assess opportunities, risks, and develop business cases with suppliers, operating businesses, and functional experts.
- Maintain a continuous monitoring of changing technology, legislative, and vendor landscapes.
- Cultivate strong relationships with site and procurement teams, coaching them in effective management of renewable projects.
- Present business cases to the Decarbonisation Board when required.
About You
To excel in this role, you will possess a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Environmental Management) and at least 3 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record in developing and executing projects internationally.
You should be an excellent communicator, able to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Additionally, you will have a strong team-player mindset, creativity in problem-solving, and the ability to see ideas through from inception to implementation.
