The Postdoctoral Researcher will be employed for an initial period of 2 years, with expected start early 2025. This is a full-time position based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations.

Job Description

As a Postdoctoral Researcher at DTU Space, you will join a newly forming team led by Dr. Victoria Antoci, where your ideas and scientific background are highly valued. You will contribute to research that could revolutionize our understanding of stellar structure and evolution.

You will work closely with experienced colleagues to explore the effects of magnetic fields on stellar structures and mixing processes within stars. Your tasks will include creating and coordinating a comprehensive grid of stellar and pulsation models for A and F stars, analyzing how different model parameters affect pulsation characteristics, and using asteroseismology to study near-core and surface magnetic fields.

Key qualifications include extensive experience in stellar modeling, strong analytical skills, a proven track record of research publications, and the ability to conduct independent research. Experience in magneto-asteroseismology is highly desirable.
