Job Title: Associate Director Manufacturing
Salary: Approximately $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on location and experience in the industry.
Job Description:
As an experienced People Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead, develop, and improve an existing organization with significant growth potential. Your primary tasks will include leading with respect for every team member, nurturing their potential and growth. You will also be responsible for shop floor management, implementing and overseeing systems like 5S, TWI, 3C, and other transformative methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Teams with Respect and Integrity: Foster a culture of trust, customer delight, Gemba (on-site engagement), and Genki (enthusiasm) across your teams.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Implement and oversee visual management, 3C problem-solving, and escalation flow to enhance daily operations.
- Embed Core Behaviors: Ensure that core behaviors such as trust, customer delight, Gemba, and Genki are integrated into daily operations and enhance operational excellence.
- Align with Peers and Develop Value Streams: Collaborate with peers across the organization to ensure alignment and drive the development of value streams.
Requirements:
- Pharmaceutical Industry Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, or analogous sectors.
- Lean Methodologies: Hands-on experience with implementing and managing systems like 5S, TWI, Dry training setups, 3C problem-solving, and other lean methodologies.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of inspiring teams, embedding a LEAN culture, and emphasizing value creation.
- Professional Training: Professional training or certifications related to operational excellence and lean methodologies.
- Relationship-Building: Exceptional relationship-building capabilities, underpinned by respect for every individual.
Your New Team & Department
The Dispensary, Campaign Support, and Solution Prep Department consists of +120 operators, 6 Supervisors, 1 Continuous Improvement Partner, and 3 Managers. As Associate Director, you will provide leadership to a Team of People Leaders within the area of Media and Buffer Preparation, defining the strategy and setting the direction for the department.
