Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our team at the Department of Physics at DTU. As a Tenure Track Researcher, you will be responsible for developing an experimental approach for studying subsurface processes using in-situ nano-computed tomography (nano-CT). Your research will focus on geological chalk matrices and the dynamic processes occurring during CO2 injection for storage.

The position involves conducting experiments at cutting-edge synchrotron facilities and analyzing data to understand the evolution and dynamics of phases in nano-porous chalk networks. You will also contribute to the teaching of courses and participate in departmental activities.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in X-ray CT imaging of dynamic processes and experience with image segmentation and pore-network characterization. Additionally, you should be able to write proposals for synchrotron beamtime and lead these as PI.
