Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the Communication Technology Section at DTU Electro – Department of Electrical and Photonics Engineering. The successful candidate will work on developing novel quantum key distribution (QKD) systems using error-correcting coding techniques.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Design and implement high-speed information reconciliation algorithms for QKD systems
- Coding and optimization of information reconciliation protocols for Squeezed light QKD and (M)DI-QKD systems
- Collaborate with quantum experts on QKD systems and participate in field-trials of novel QKD systems
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field and have a strong background in Error-Correcting Coding and Forward Error-Correcting Codes. You should also have experience with coding for information reconciliation in QKD.
Salary and Benefits
The salary will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations, which corresponds to an estimated annual salary of approximately €60,000-€80,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
