Flying Tiger Copenhagen is seeking a talented Business and Pricing Analyst to join our Commercial Trade team. As a key member of our Pricing and Analytics team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing innovative pricing models that drive growth and maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pricing Strategy Development: Design and implement data-driven pricing strategies to enhance profitability across multiple markets and channels.
  • Governance and Communication: Manage the governance of price changes and ensure effective communication with key stakeholders.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop comprehensive weekly and monthly reports, delivering actionable insights that drive revenue growth.
  • Market Expansion: Partner with our Franchise team and local partners to maintain competitive pricing as we expand into new markets.
  • Margin Protection: Utilize your analytical skills to identify and prevent margin leakage across product categories.
  • Product Life Cycle Management: Manage the sell-through for campaign products, optimizing profitability, inventory turnover, and cash flow.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: A master's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in an analytical role, ideally within pricing or retail.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential. You should be comfortable working with large datasets, identifying trends, and providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Excellent Excel skills are a must, as is the ability to create compelling presentations in PowerPoint.
  • Business Acumen: A deep understanding of business principles and a bias towards data-driven decision-making are crucial.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is necessary to ensure accuracy in pricing models, reports, and analysis.
  • Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing market conditions and internal dynamics. Flexibility and the willingness to learn and grow in our fast-paced environment.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Bonus Skills: While not required, coding skills (such as SQL, Python, or R) are a plus.
