About the Position:

In the role of Finance Business Partner, you will be instrumental in facilitating financial operations and supporting decision-making across our Nordic region. As a vital member of the Nordic organization, you will ensure compliance with governance standards while providing effective solutions to business partners. Your primary objective will be to deliver precise, timely, and compliant financial processes alongside professional business analysis, fostering collaboration between finance and other departments, building strong relationships, and optimizing processes for improved organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and accurate remittance of VAT, taxes, and other financial obligations.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Act as the primary contact for local teams regarding finance and accounting inquiries.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Guarantee timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Support sales performance assessments and business management across the Nordic region.
  • Assist in the forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Oversee financial modeling for investments and conduct ad hoc business analyses.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • Demonstrated experience in accounting, controlling, finance, or business partnering roles is essential.
  • Familiarity with taxation laws and requirements.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial and accounting processes and procedures.
  • Experience with VAT reporting is mandatory.
  • Experience in an international business environment is advantageous.
  • Collaboration experience with Shared Service Centers is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP and SAP Business Warehouse (BOA) is beneficial.
  • Experience with reporting tools, Power BI, and BW systems is an asset.
  • Fluency in English and a local Scandinavian language (both written and spoken) is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • This role may require occasional travel.
