We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at BIG Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in high-end single family residential projects, preferably within architecture firms.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project teams through all phases of design and documentation.
  • Maintain primary communication with clients.
  • Coordinate architectural design and building systems with engineering consultants.
  • Produce and develop technical drawings and details with minimum supervision.
  • Organize drawing sets and oversee teams in completing all submissions.
  • Perform filing, code, and zoning analyses for multiple municipalities and related zoning ordinances.
  • Survey and document existing conditions in the field.
  • Communicate and coordinate with external and internal team members.
  • Research construction materials and systems.
  • Responsibility over project budget, staffing, and scheduling.
Requirements
  • Experience with Los Angeles legislation and building code.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture, licensure in California.
  • Minimum 10 years of post-bachelor's degree Architecture firm experience.
  • Experience in design and detailing projects through construction documentation.
  • Significant experience in high-end Single Family Residential projects.
  • Strong understanding of L.A. County zoning, ordinances, and code.
  • Solid knowledge of products, materials, and construction methods in California.
  • Proficiency in 3d modeling software strongly preferred (Sketchup, Rhino).
