We are committed to advancing marine conservation efforts through innovative research and collaboration. Our team at Pherobase seeks a dedicated postdoctoral researcher to contribute to the Quantification of Marine Ecosystem Services in Connection with Marine Nature Restoration (QESMAR) project.
About the Project:
The QESMAR project focuses on developing a comprehensive framework for quantifying ecosystem services in restored marine habitats. This ambitious initiative requires interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative approaches to addressing complex research questions.
Your Contributions:
As a postdoctoral researcher, you will play a vital role in developing methods for monitoring and assessing biodiversity in marine restoration projects. Your contributions will help establish a robust assessment framework that enables efficient comparison of ecosystem services across different restored habitats.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in marine ecology, biology, environmental sciences, or a related field.
- Expert knowledge of benthic ecology and biodiversity, as well as experience with marine restoration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Good knowledge of English (written and oral) and strong publication records in high-ranking scientific journals.
