We invite applications for a postdoctoral position to investigate how mutations give rise to aberrant circuit activity underlying epilepsy and neurodevelopmental delays.
About the ProjectThis project involves developing and characterizing murine and human models of neurodevelopmental disease based on mutations in the neurotransmitter release machinery. The goal is to identify imaging parameters that are changed by mutation, providing insights into the mechanisms of these disorders.
We employ a multi-disciplinary approach, combining advanced imaging techniques with biochemical and biophysical analyses. Our team aims to uncover the underlying causes of these devastating diseases and to develop novel therapeutic strategies.
