About the Role

This exciting opportunity offers a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen, requiring a skilled professional with a strong background in network design and engineering.

Your primary responsibility will be to design and engineer state-of-the-art network solutions for our clients, closely integrated with various telecom/operational systems.

You will work collaboratively with a multicultural team of experts to create customized solutions that meet the unique requirements of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Designing and engineering different telecommunication solutions for clients, including network design, TETRA, Line-of-Sight radios, etc.
  2. Participating or leading detail designs, including Front End Engineering Designs.
  3. Developing detailed design specifications for networks to be used for actual implementation.
  4. Collaborating on interface design with other systems.
  5. Verifying configurations and equipment in preparation for Factory Acceptance Tests.
  6. Making minor changes to configurations.
  7. Following up on subcontractors' designs, ensuring technical requirements and interface management.
  8. Supporting and interacting with subcontractors, customers, and other teams across the organization.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  1. A minimum of 5 years' experience configuring and designing different network systems.
  2. A good understanding of various techniques within network design – both physically and logically.
  3. Knowledge of OT-security standards and practices, such as Purdue layered model, IEC62443, or similar.
  4. A degree in electronic, telecommunications, network engineering, or a related field.
  5. Fluency in English, verbal and written.
  6. Experience in the offshore energy industry is an advantage but not a requirement.
  7. Strong analytical skills and good technical writing abilities.
