As the Senior Global Project Manager - Nature & Biodiversity Data, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's environmental strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive nature impact assessments to determine priority sourcing categories and potential effects of sourcing activities on ecosystems and biodiversity.
- Develop and improve our nature and biodiversity assessment methodology with close linkage to relevant frameworks and standards.
- Identify and integrate relevant data sources within and outside the organization to ensure accurate data input to our nature assessment.
- Ensure alignment of data and nature methodology across the organization, adjusting our approach as needed.
- Establish monitoring mechanisms to track progress and effectiveness of nature and biodiversity strategy targets.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in engineering, biology, data science, or a related field with excellent academic results.
- At least 3 years of experience in Geospatial Data and/or Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), preferably in a corporate context.
- Advanced user of Excel and proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Familiarity with spatial data and emerging nature and biodiversity frameworks.
