About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our team as a Professor of Metabolic Regulation and Disease.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in metabolomics, cardiovascular pathophysiology, or the central regulation of body weight and energy homeostasis.

The position involves leading a research group, conducting original research, and publishing academic papers.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for teaching and supervising students, as well as sharing knowledge with society through public debate and academic assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting original research in cardiometabolic health and disease.
  • Leading a research group and providing guidance and supervision to researchers.
  • Teaching and supervising students, including associated examination.
  • Sharing knowledge with the public through debate and outreach.

Qualifications

  • A strong track record of research in cardiometabolic health and disease, including publications and funding.
  • Excellent leadership and teaching skills, with experience in guiding and supervising researchers.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to both academic and non-academic audiences.
Working Conditions

The position is a fixed-term appointment of five years, with the possibility of renewal.

Salary and benefits are in accordance with the Danish collective agreement for academics.
