About the Opportunity:

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with experience working with industry-standard tools like ADF, Data Lake, Synapse, Analysis Services, and Databricks. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues within a product team to design scalable, efficient, and stable data products.
  • Develop and deliver features designed to support Pandora to drive business cases and efficiencies within reporting and analytics & AI and other data-driven use cases.
  • Create and maintain high-quality data pipeline architecture.
  • Gain relevant business and system knowledge to convert requirements efficiently to technical design documentation and conceptual data modeling.
  • Own your data products and track continuous stability and benefits.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience with Databricks.
  • Experience with ADF, Data Lake, Synapse, T/U-SQL, and SQL Server.
  • Experience with at least one object-oriented or functional/scripting language – PySpark, SQL, Python, etc.
  • DevOps and CI/CD focus.
  • Experience in working with relational data sets using SQL.
  • Experience with data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience in building, and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and datasets.
  • Experience in working with Azure, AWS, or other cloud providers.
  • Relevant education in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Information Management, or Statistics.
