Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Impact Investment Strategist to join our team at IFU. As a key member of our Strategy & Business Development team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction and growth journey.
The successful candidate will have strong experience within strategy development and project work, preferably from at least 2 years in a management consultancy. Experience with emerging markets, development finance, and private equity will be considered a plus, but is not a requirement.
In this exciting opportunity, you will contribute to the department's tasks both in collaboration with coworkers and by running projects yourself. The main responsibilities of the department include defining and driving priority initiatives in strategy implementation together with the business units, assisting in building a new brand for IFU, supporting the development of business unit strategies, developing strategies, tools, and processes that will enable IFU to deliver on its investment targets, leading annual corporate business planning, and producing insights, recommendations, and fact-based decision material based on research and analysis for IFU leadership and business units.
You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will also be responsible for contributing to the development of business unit strategies, including IFU's investment strategy in close collaboration with the Investment management team.
This is an impactful job with real contributions to the green transition and improving living conditions in developing countries and emerging markets. IFU is Denmark's Development Finance Institution and a leading emerging market impact investor. We think innovatively about ways to deploy our capital, attract and mobilise other investors, and drive sustainable impact in emerging markets by making commercial private sector investments that support the green transition, as well as building just and inclusive societies in developing countries and emerging markets.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience. This is a hybrid workplace, allowing you to manage your own time effectively.
