Aarhus University is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill a tenure-track position in Aquatic Biology and Ecology. Research FocusThe Department of Biology at Aarhus University is committed to advancing our understanding of aquatic ecosystems and their responses to global changes. We are particularly interested in candidates who specialize in freshwater and/or marine biology and ecology, with a focus on areas such as aquatic ecosystem dynamics, biogeochemical cycling, biodiversity, trophic interactions, and coastal ecology.
Teaching and SupervisionThe successful candidate will be expected to contribute to teaching and supervision in the biology degree programs, including basic courses at the bachelor level and advanced courses at the master level. Supervision of undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students is also expected.
Qualifications and ExperienceApplicants should have a strong track record documenting important contributions to relevant areas within aquatic biology or ecology. Complementarity to the current research at the section is desirable. The qualifications of each candidate will be evaluated using the standard evaluation criteria for tenure-track positions at Aarhus University.
