About us

Queue-it is a tech scale-up that helps the world's biggest brands manage their busiest days. Our virtual waiting rooms prevent website crashes and bot abuse to create a smoother, fairer online experience for billions of users.

We're a diverse team coming from 40+ countries with offices in Denmark, the U.S., South Korea, and Australia.

About the role

As a Business Development Associate, you'll create quality connections with potential customers. You'll be the first point of contact for our prospective clients in Japan, generating business and playing a critical role in Queue-it's continued growth.

Responsibilities

  1. Create and qualify new sales opportunities. Develop and launch strategic awareness campaigns and engage in discovery calls to create and qualify new leads.
  2. Take full responsibility for researching, prospecting, and reporting for your assigned campaigns. You will become part of our Business Development Team focusing on the Japanese market. You'll use tailored approaches that match the linguistic, cultural, and business specifics of this region.
  3. Collaborate for growth. Work closely with the marketing and sales teams in our Copenhagen office (and others) to create engaging, market-optimized content, convert leads to customers, and reactivate cold accounts.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is excited to research, strategize, and communicate with prospects to generate new business.
  • Has the ability to undertake multiple tasks and projects at the same time with a detail-oriented and structured approach.
  • Has a collaborative, global mindset and an enthusiasm for new business development and SaaS technology.
  • Capable of independently and collaboratively initiating, establishing, and maintaining partnerships.
  • Able to closely connect with our Sydney office through remote means, and there may be times when collaboration across different time zones is required.

To qualify for this role, you should have:

  • Rich knowledge of/experience with the Japanese market.
  • A minimum of one year's full-time experience in business development, sales, or related roles is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in Japanese.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English (our office language).

Practicalities

The position is full-time and starts as soon as possible.

Why you'll love working with Queue-it:

  • Trust. Our philosophy is online trust. This philosophy of trust extends to our work culture and environment.
  • Strengths based approach. We want and encourage you to use your natural strengths to thrive and achieve success.
  • Diverse and inclusive culture. In a company with 40+ nationalities, you will be able to enjoy a truly intercultural and inclusive environment.
  • Social. We regularly have fun get-togethers: region-themed Friday bars, breakfasts, daily subsidized lunches from the canteen, etc.

About the office

Located in the heart of Copenhagen, the Queue-it headquarters offers modern amenities, collaborative spaces, and quiet zones to suit all work styles – plus games, ping pong, foosball, PS4, social events, clubs, and great coffee, lunch, & snacks
