About the Role

Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to join our Tower Module department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of wind turbine towers, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of tower modules, from concept to release
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets technical and business requirements
  • Develop and maintain project portfolios, documenting all work and progress
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders, providing regular project updates

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in wind, renewables, or construction industry
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with Eurocode and IEC Design Standards
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Ansys APDL/WB, parametric modeling, and scripting
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with design failure mechanisms associated with large steel structures
  • Experience with certification of components, particularly with DNV or DIBt
