About the Role

Alfa Laval is seeking a seasoned Bid Manager to drive and own the quotation process for our GPHE project business worldwide.

As a key member of our BU GPHE Process Sales team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring competitiveness and customer satisfaction by coordinating and managing international, cross-functional virtual bid teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage international, cross-functional virtual bid teams to ensure competitiveness and customer satisfaction.
  • Secure the right prioritization for tasks and projects, ensuring that the most critical and impactful work is addressed first.
  • Participate in and coordinate clarification meetings, facilitating effective communication both internally and with clients.
  • Prepare transparent cost calculations using a global template, maintaining and enhancing our competitiveness in the market.
About You

You are a highly independent professional with a strong engineering background, ideally in mechanical or chemical. With at least five years of experience in a similar technical sales position, you possess a solid knowledge of GPHE product competence in energy applications.

Your proactive nature, flexibility, and ability to multitask enable you to prioritize effectively based on customer requirements and lead times. You have cross-cultural awareness and can form strong working relationships both internally and within sales companies.
