About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ESG Financial Controller to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the future of ESG reporting and driving impactful change in the green offshore wind industry.

You will be responsible for conducting the consolidation and reporting of ESG data, collaborating with stakeholders on all levels, and supporting them with processes, compliance, and technical assistance in terms of CSRD and other ESG-related matters.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive the EU taxonomy reporting
  2. Facilitate the audit process and assurance of ESG reporting
  3. Ensure Company complies with its reporting obligations related to existing green finance instruments
  4. Report ESG data to organizations providing sustainability ratings
  5. Support Company compliance with its obligations under the EU ETS and prospective UK ETS
  6. Support financial consolidation and reporting

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting or similar areas like Auditing, Finance or Business Administration
  • Strong MS Excel skills as an analysis tool
  • Broad experience and knowledge of accounting systems for mid- to large-sized companies
  • Experience on the following systems is not a requirement but a great advantage: Oracle, Sertica, Power BI
  • Big 4 accounting firm background or from a listed company is not a requirement but a great advantage
  • ESG experience is not required but a great advantage
  • Speak and write English fluently (Danish is an advantage but not a requirement)
