As a Principal UI Designer, you'll play a critical role in guiding the future visual style of Subway Surfers, working closely with cross-functional teams to design original UI solutions that align with our brand vision and player needs. Your passion for crafting visually stunning and intuitive designs will be essential in driving user satisfaction and engagement.
Responsibilities- Design and implement intuitive, engaging UI screens and assets that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
- Optimize UI elements to ensure seamless performance across mobile devices, including iOS and Android.
- Develop and maintain a consistent visual style and tone across all UI elements, ensuring a cohesive and recognizable brand identity.
- Create and maintain visual documentation and a style guide for the UI, facilitating collaboration and consistency across the team.
- Conduct user testing and iterate on designs based on feedback to enhance user experience and drive business results.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies relevant to mobile gaming, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
- Actively refine and improve existing UI/UX to elevate user engagement and satisfaction, ensuring the product remains cutting-edge and user-friendly.
In your first month, you'll meet the team, learn about our company culture, and get familiar with our tools and processes. You'll be paired with a mentor who will guide you through your first projects, helping you to feel at home in your new role.
In your first three months, you'll take on more impactful responsibilities in the game, designing engaging user interfaces and contributing to enhancing the game experience. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and refine your designs based on user feedback and analytics.
In your first twelve months, you'll make a significant impact on Subway Surfers, leading UI initiatives for new events and features in the game. You'll assess the effectiveness of your designs in real-world scenarios and use data to optimize player satisfaction and engagement.
Requirements- Proven experience as a UI Designer in the gaming industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing work on mobile platforms.
- Expertise in graphic design and digital art tools, particularly Adobe Creative Suite, and proficiency in Unity, with a solid understanding of its UI tools and capabilities.
- Excellent skills in performance optimization for UI across multiple platforms.
- Experience in User-Centric Design Strategies.
- Knowledge in conducting User Research and Analysis.
