About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our team at DTU Electro. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will be working on coding for quantum key distribution (QKD) information reconciliation.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing techniques on coding for QKD systems, including high-speed and high-efficiency information reconciliation, coding of novel information reconciliation for squeezed light QKD, and optimizing the efficiency of information reconciliation based on error-correcting codes.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Develop high-speed and high-efficiency information reconciliation algorithms for QKD systems
  • Collaborate with quantum experts on QKD systems to optimize coding schemes
  • Participate in field-trials of novel QKD systems
  • Contribute to the development of new error-correcting codes for QKD applications

Requirements and Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, you must hold a PhD degree in a relevant field and have a strong background in error-correcting coding and forward error-correcting codes, preferably with experience in coding for QKD.
