Sustainable Finance Expert Wanted

Ramboll is seeking a talented individual to join our Sustainable Finance practice as a Strategic Finance Expert for Sustainable Growth. In this role, you'll work closely with clients to identify and capitalize on opportunities in sustainable finance.

Job Description
  • Develop strategic partnerships with clients to drive sustainable growth.
  • Lead client projects to deliver high-quality results that meet their sustainability goals.
  • Collaborate with our responsible business conduct team to grow and expand our services.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and training on sustainable finance topics for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Engage with colleagues across Ramboll to ensure collaboration within the area of Sustainable Finance.

We believe your starting point is:

  • A strong background in sustainable finance, particularly in ESG strategy, regulatory frameworks, and implementation of EU legislation.
  • A proven track record of leading large-scale corporate transformation initiatives, ensuring that CSRD implementation is value-driven.
  • Experience advising C-level clients on strategies that align sustainability and long-term business value.
  • Strong familiarity with CSRD, EU Taxonomy, SFDR, and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive.
  • A deep understanding of how sustainability trends and themes link to corporate strategy and value creation.
  • A relevant degree, possibly in finance, accounting, economics, law, engineering, sustainable development, or environmental science.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire clients and colleagues.
  • Prior consulting experience is an advantage.
