Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Procurement Project Manager to join our team in Esbjerg or Copenhagen. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement strategies for significant capital projects focused on green technologies.

Main Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies: In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet project objectives.
  • Managing project specific purchases: Oversee the procurement process for goods, equipment, and services required for project execution.
  • Planning and executing tender processes: Coordinate the entire tender process from notification to supplier selection, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Negotiating business terms and contract administration: Negotiate contracts with suppliers and administer contractual agreements to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Carrying out supplier and risk assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of suppliers to identify potential risks and ensure they meet quality and performance expectations.
  • Developing analytics on supplier performance: Analyze data to assess supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Higher commercial education at bachelor level: A degree in a relevant field such as commerce, engineering, or business administration.
  • Proven experience in operational and strategic procurement: Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement roles, preferably in the industrial or oil & gas sectors.
  • Commercial understanding and analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of commercial principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
