Sustainable Future through Innovative Technologies

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Specialist to join our team at the University of Copenhagen. This is an exciting opportunity to work on life cycle assessment of nutrient recycling technologies from sewage sludge and industrial residues.

About the Position

This postdoc position will be affiliated with two EU projects: WalNUT and DeliSoil. The successful candidate will be responsible for data procurement, conducting life cycle assessments, and collaborating with international teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data collection and management
  • Life cycle assessment methodology
  • Methodological development, especially regarding soil health assessment
  • Collaboration with EU partners and other sources

Requirements

  • PhD degree in environmental science or related disciplines
  • Strong knowledge of nutrient recycling
  • Experience with life cycle assessment methodology
  • Competence in data management and statistical analysis
  • Excellent English writing and speaking abilities

What We Offer

The University of Copenhagen offers a competitive salary of approximately DKK 540,000 per year (gross), depending on qualifications and experience. In addition, we offer a dynamic and informal working environment with excellent opportunities for professional and personal development.
