At Danfoss, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Controller to join our team. As a Plant Controller, you will play a critical role in managing, controlling, and analyzing the financial development of our plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cost analysis and follow-up on all cost categories on a monthly and ad hoc basis, making proposals to minimize deviations.
- Present financial performance results and policies to Management to inform business decisions.
- Work with departments to improve results, understand gaps, and help close gaps.
- Prepare quarterly plant forecasts, including deviation analysis to budget and previous forecast.
- Timely and accurate preparation of financial management reporting for the plant, including KPI reporting, analysis, and trends.
- Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to Management resulting from analysis, making proposals for correction and improvements.
- Coordinate and prepare the annual budget, ensuring the total plant budget meets targets provided by BU Controller/Leadership.
- Assist project leaders in preparation of new AFE's, PDP & DCF models, localizations, and follow-up.
- Train organization at all levels within the plant.
- Facilitate yearly costing run and secure organizational involvement in validation of standards, including monthly material ledger.
- Participate in Group projects related to the financial area, such as reporting, system implementations, new ERP projects, etc.
- Assist all levels in organization with financial questions on a day-to-day basis.
Requirements:
- MSc in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- 3+ years of relevant working experience from a job within finance after graduation.
- Excellent communication and culture awareness skills.
- Ability to influence others and be a good team player.
- Outstanding skills in Excel and familiarity with SAP and BO.
- Business-minded skills, analytical/systematic approach, and high aptitude and ability level.
- Proficient understanding of forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Ability to challenge stakeholders and shine a light on findings in relation to managing projects and change management processes efficiently.
