Engineering Project Lead for Biotech Production Expansion

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Lead to join our team in Hillerød, Denmark. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and leading a team to drive the expansion of our Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) capacity for Biotech production.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering or a related technical field, with at least 5 years of experience in operational management. Experience from the pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable, as is knowledge of API/mAB processes and planning. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
About the Department
You will join our team in Hillerød, working on the expansion of our API capacity for Biotech production. This project is one of the most significant expansion projects in Novo Nordisk, and the facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology to accommodate new processes and products.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage, lead, and develop a highly skilled multi-cultural team to achieve project objectives.
- Coordinate staffing and project progress in close collaboration with the different project work package owners.
- Be responsible for operational readiness within your area together with the operational readiness team.
- Ensure the right number and level of competencies in the team along the project phases and progressing into operations.
- Participate in commissioning and validation of new equipment.
- Promote a continuous improvement mindset, coaching and developing the team through clear direction and effective leadership.
- Ensure robustness within the team, through a healthy and engaging working environment.
What You Bring
- A degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in operational management; experience from the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
- Experience from larger projects is an advantage.
- Knowledge of API/mAB processes and planning is preferred.
- Great communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
