Biotechnology Project Director Position

As a Biotechnology Project Director at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies, you will be responsible for leading the Milky Way Project Services team. This high-performing team consists of 25 skilled employees with mainly contractors. Your role will involve overseeing and managing all Project Services disciplines such as Scheduling, Risk, Cost, Procurement, and Contracting within our Capex function.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and execute cost and schedule management programs for projects, supporting area infrastructure planning efforts at various stages.
- Capture associated cost and schedule activities through effective change management practices.
- Develop dashboards to communicate cost and schedule performance to teams in real time, implementing standardized suites of cost and schedule reports.
- Tender development, management, and reward for external service/equipment providers, inclusive of primary EPC contracts.
- Perform trend analysis and actively evaluate project cost and schedule performance to identify potential risk areas, validate forecasts, and communicate those quickly to key stakeholders.
- Coordinate Project Services team contributions to the development of project funding requests.
- Responsible for the Project Services/Governance reporting/structure, cross-functional alignment with involved parties (general contractors, subcontractors), and input to EPC contract administration.
- Liaison with and support to FDB strategy and initiatives.
- Continuous improvement of Project Services systems and procedures.
- Ad hoc support to the Hillerød Milky Way expansion project Leadership Team.
You will be working closely with the Project Executive of the Milky Way Project, referring to their guidance and expertise. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will contribute significantly to the project's success.
